Embark upon your expedition in the evening on a working commercial vessel with the submersible in tow. While voyaging to the dive location, you will receive a safety briefing and details of the mission’s dive objectives from the safety officers, expedition leaders, and scientific partners.
Your work day will begin with a detailed briefing on the day’s plans and mission objectives. Once all safety protocols are completed the crew will board the zodiac that will transfer the crewmembers to the launch and recovery platform where you will board the submersible. Upon completion of communications checks, the submersible will descend to the intended target and spend 3-5 hours exploring and documenting the wreck-site(s). Data collection, photographic and video documentation will be created throughout the dive. After you return to the surface and transfer back to the main support vessel, you and the expedition crew will hold a post-dive debrief and celebrate the successful dive.
The support vessel will return to New York overnight and arrive in port in the morning.
